TONGUE TIE

A tongue-tie (also known as ankyloglossia) is a condition where the tissue (frenulum) connecting the underside of the tongue to the bottom of the mouth is shorter or tighter than usual. This restricts the tongue's movement and function and can cause issues.

Treatment involves a simple procedure known as a frenulotomy or tongue-tie division, which releases the tight tissue and improves tongue mobility.
